Here is the Storydamn I always thought Billups was the heart of the Pistons, very good player especially in the clutch. But the Pistons did need to change things up if they are to win a championship. We all know Iverson can score, now the question is can he win.

Meh
Ive been pistons fan since birth!
ill just say this. Billups , is def my fav piston.. wait.. All time fav piston.
AI I never liked him and I dont think he can bring the teamwork to the table as Chauncey could. Yes AI scores more than Billups but look what kind of team he was with? Detroit has been all about teamwork everyone plays their roles
I guess I have to sit and watch
im still going to the games in my billups jersey

Yea I can see AI saying... Teamwork... I love my brothers... PRACTICE..What's this about PRACTICE... haha. Then going out and being a ball hog and not fitting in with the Pistons' way of playing basketball.

Yeah it's a gamble, but the last time Dumars made a gamble it worked out...with Rasheed Wallace, We will just have to see what happens.

I am not to happy with this trade. I did think that Billups needed to go. I just didn't think the Pistons would give up McDyess too. But there is speculation that Denver is just gonna buyout McDyess's contract then release him as a free agent. If that happens I think Detroit will resign McDyess with a shorter time span for less money. So in doing so Denver now has a good clutch player and they still have Anthony. Plus they freed up some money for the salary cap. Detroit opened up enough money by trading and resigning McDyess to acquire a high scoring ball hog. I hope this all works out for them and gets them a champsionship.
