rooney is scoring goals again!
man city is still on top with 41 points, unfortunately. MATTO! your arsenal boys couldnt get it done! it was a close game in just about every aspect though.
man u still rides the #2 spot with a win over the queens park rangers rooney scoring in about 52 seconds with his head and then michael carrick later in the second half.
#3 surprisingly, tottenham sitting only five points behind #2 with a win over sunderland this weekend. They have a tough game on thursday against Chelsea, with a loss they will loose their #2 spot to chelsea. So the upcoming game is huge for tottenham as well as for chelsea.
chelsea sitting at #4 has a very important game needing a win in hopes to climb to #3. With a loss however, they could be dropped down to the 6th-7th range depending on what arsenal and liverpool do this weekend.
Liverpool and Arsenal tied at 29 points in the BPL Arsenal sitting in front of Liverpool because they have 9 wins and Liverpool only with 8. Arsenal plays Aston Villa this thursday and with a win they have hopes of moving up. Liverpool playing Wigan, who drew chelsea this last weekend, needs a win as well if they wish to move up.
however Newcastle sits closely behind with 27 points and they play west brom on thursday. If liverpool and/or arsenal cant get it done newcastle will jump right ahead. Now what would be interesting is if newcastle won putting them at 30 points and liverpool and arsenal tied giving them 30 points as well leading to a 3 way battle for the number 5 spot.
Most games are taking place on Wednesday because of the Holiday.
