Soccer fights are soo weak...all they do is kick and push.

theres a few fists in there as well. Sorry we dont have 18 layers of padding and a helmet protecting us. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/2200160/images/llaWnBTAbJbjaaAUUNge.png) Plus a kick hurts alot more, espcially when they are whaling or landing on your knee and tear your meniscus or ACL. Only thing i have done is break a kids shin on accident. That wasnt very fun though.

I've never seen a ref, or infact ANYONE act that gay before...
I played soccer for 11 years, and of that 8 years as a keeper (goalie wtf ever). For all you who want to rag on soccer for being a "pansy" sport go ahead... I dont see you getting out there and keeping up with any of them. Trying playing, watching the sport is f**kin boring I'll admit because you're not really seeing all the tackling and challenges being made.
As a keeper I've already broken 4 ribs, my pinkey and my right index finger twice. I've also bruised my shin (nearly broke it) and my right big toe. I've broken someones nose because I punted the ball in their face, and taken a lot of people out of games.
When you can stop a 60-80mph mph shot from going in the net, actually kick a ball half-assed accurately in a straight line without "toe-blowing" it, and endure what it's like to have someone slide tackle/kick you in the anckles or shin, I'll have a little more respect for the soccer-haters.
But until then, go play your padded up football sport.
Oh, and just so you know... Football adopted the soccer style kicking because it actually works opposed to toe-blowers because you can aim, and get more power behind the ball.

You cant really enjoy watching soccer unless you have played it at a decent level. Its not about the scores but more the challenges, jukes, rhythm, and possession. I played for 13 years at a club level and it requires more conditioning and endurance than any other sport. You dont get breaks everytime the ball gets stolen. You dont get to stop running cause you reached a certain point on the field, you dont have a certain route to run. You are runned for 45 min STRAIGHT. and the only break you get is when the ball goes out and the 20 seconds it takes for them to get it back to the line, then you get to scramble to get open just to get the damn ball back in bounds. And believe it or not the brutality is there. Go watch a university game some time and you will see the elbos, kicks, trips, pushes, and all that fun stuff. I was fortunate enough not to break anything but I know i have broken a kids shin, a team mate broke his own wrist, ive seen broken ribs, dislocated fingers (I dislocated my pinky as well), torn meniscus' and ACL's, and broken arms.
People seem to have this idea in there head that Soccer is a lightweight sport but you got to understand it is almost as aggressive as hockey when you get to the right level. The only difference is there is no board to slam them into and the fights get broken up.

WHOO GIVE IT UP THE SOCCER PLAYERS SILENT SHADOW GHOST (i do believe he said he played some too) DILLNILLA!!!!!!!! Ya trick ya. yea i've said it before and said it again. soccer is boring to watch on Tv, well for you guys but i like watching soccer on TV ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/2200160/images/LgQpsdW0bnjUxr0iJMvq.png) And Soccer straight up owns football. You have all of those pads and helmets and what not. You get a break after every play. Soccer you only get like a 3 second breaks very rarely, not after every freaking play. AND you don't sit and watch the "offense" or the "defense" from the bench no matter what you position you play you play a role in both offense and defense.

Yea no kidding. Even as keeper you have to play the back side of the field on corners lol. I've actually scored off a corner kick, being a keeper haha. Was quite funny, the ball got cleared and I just one timed it from my side of the center arc on my side of the field and I got a lucky bounce and a goal.
