I am reaching out to everyone I know to see if there is anyone that has a direct contact with anyone of any importance within the Dell organization. Someone that I can speak with that isn't an a$$hole! ;D
If anyone here knows of such an individual I would really appreciate your help!!
Thanks

No it was out of warranty but I bought a warranty from them. My problem is the customer service issue surrounding the whole incident, it was horrific to say the least!!!!
So I sent a three page document via UPS, return signature required, to the VP of Customer Experience and he doled me off to some krony who was a complete a$$. After a 45 minute conversation with this dope, he flat out refused to escalate my issue to his supervisor AND told me if I had any more thoughts about writing any more letters to any of Dells upper echelon, that he would be getting them and would not respond to them so I would be wasting my time.
That's it in short...but it is quite the debacle!!

Easy, threaten to go public and talk to your local news if its really a big issue. I dont know about there but when companies do things like that there was a news bit that basically gave the issue to them and they would try to help get it handled while using it as subject matter for the newspaper. Similar to a consumer reports type of thing. May want to see if your paper or local news station has something similar.

Rock, I hate to say this, but Dell has become well known for their horrendous customer service. I helped start a franchise where I dealt with multiple different brands of printers/copiers etc. and I became very familiar with Dell's CS.
You can look on the internet anywhere and you will see people speaking out about them and how horrible of an experience they give you when dealing with their CS.
In short, if you go back you WILL get more of the same. I hate to say that, but I have heard of people dealing for months with these people. For a multi-million dollar business, you would think they could invest in a descent program to better their Customer Service.
I will soon be buying a computer and it WILL not be a Dell.

C..Maybe you can bribe that security guard for me and get me some suits phone #. Tell him I'll give him a real cop badge if he gives me a number!!
Shadow I was thinking the same thing but wasn't quite sure whether they would take this on. I also found an article from Business Weekly from 2 years ago that highlighted the VP I sent my letter too, how he was going to clean up Dells Customer Service...what a joke.
My other thought is small claims Court. Then they would either have to send/retain a lawyer here in Mass or default..in which case I get a judgement against them. Then I go to Texas, get a Sheriff and walk into their building and secure property in the amount of the judgement.
Anyway..thanks for the posts.
