Why isn't there a boxing and UFC board in the sport section?
Where to start? Oh yea, Shogun Rua is the new f**king champ.
It was a great start for both Rua and Machida but Rua definitely had the upper hand and well he dominated and won the match within the first round (@ 3:35 via KO) and closing Lyoto's left eye.
Kimbo vs. "Meathead" Mitrione was a good match, but like I said I was waiting for someone to be tired first and well, Kimbo did and suffered strong kicks to the leg....BADLY. Meathead mounted, submitted, and pounded but Kimbo didn't want to lose but the Ref had to stop it. (Round 2: @ 4:24 via Strikes) Along with this lost, Kimbo is cut.
Lastly, Josh Koscheck vs. Paul Daley. Another good match with some stoppage from the ref, but overall a good match from Koscheck (Unanimous decision). Kudos for Koscheck and its definitely not the last time we'll be seeing Koscheck since whomever won the match would be a coach and go against GSP in the next Ultimate fighter. It will be, however, the last time we'll see Daley. After his last punch, which was a cheap shot after the match was done, he's being cut from UFC.
"He's done. I don't give a [expletive] if he's the best 170-pounder in the world, he'll never come back here again," White said in the postfight press conference.

Later Daley.
Other mentions: Patrick Cote got slammed on his face and then later got choked out in second round (@ 3:25) from Alan Belcher.
A bloodied face of Jonathan Goulet was man handled in the second round (@ 1:23) by the hands of Marcus Davis.
Last but not least, Jason MacDonald suffered from a leg injury much like Redskins QB Joe Theismann suffered. Ouch!
